Like any other creative study, Photography has gained a steady momentum in the creative Industry. The world of food, fashion, music, cinema and advertising depends on photography and it’s visual pleasure in today’s dynamic and ever changing digital world we live in. Our personal mobile phones are the gateway to this creative industry we live in. While traveling, before sleeping, having a meal or just relaxing, we’re on our phones, scrolling through articles and advertisements that consist of images and moving images that instigate us to go and buy an item or invest into something that impressed us. Having knowledge about how to produce and what to produce for a company is necessary. Although, having absolute efficiency about the technical aspects is the most important part. At AAFT University, we have a variety of courses delivering the technical and theoretical aspects of photography. Right from short courses to a complete Masters in Photography, we always aim to stay up to date with our technology and invest in modern DSLRs and different types of cameras, computers for post-production, studios for still/fashion photography and outdoor shooting facilities. The horizon for the photography industry is rising each day. People have started to invest a large amount of money for filming/capturing moments and auspicious events such as weddings, birthdays and other celebrations. Wedding photography has often been stated as one of the most under-rated profitable careers. The investment is bare minimum, while the need and want of it doesn’t die out and the need to buy a new instrument itself is only essential once in a few years. The scope of making a living as a freelancing photographer is something that the new generation is finding a strong passion in. And rightly so, as you can see content creators on different social media apps such as Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, etc and video sharing platforms such as Youtube making a healthy and successful living. Food, travel and lifestyle bloggers have also started finding a need to make their visual appearance aesthetic and audience pleasing. If the looks of the food, location or activity isn’t captivating, the blogger wouldn’t be successful.
